The Fourth of July

We had a fabulous 4th of July.  My sweet niece Rozy is a 4th of July Baby and of course what a fun weekend to CELEBRATE!!!
Praise Jesus for the Men and Woman who fight for our freedom.  Our family is so thankful.   So many of the men and woman in our family served in the different branches of our military.  We are so blessed to have never lost anyone in any type of War or active duty.   What a sacrifice these people and their families make each and every day.  THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Summer at the Luster's

LUSTER FAMILY PHOTO
Silas decided not to participate.
Well as you can see we have been doing a lot of growing.

15 Months Check Up
Elijah 19 lbs 9.2 oz

Silas 19 lbs. 7.2 oz

We are both walking and into EVERYTHING!! We have 8 Teeth and Silas has one molar coming in now.  We love playing outside and pass up the slides and swings for a big handful of grass and DIRT.  We are eating lots of food.  Our hair is still fairly straight but in the summer humidity it curls up on the ends.  We love baths and we hate brushing our teeth.
Our favorite part of our day is when daddy comes home!!!  We love running to the door when he gets home.

We have celebrated birthdays... Happy Birthday Nana.

We love you!!

We took our first trip to Grants farm.  It was mommy's first time too.

Feeding the goats was so fun and running through the water sprinkler was great too.

So brave!!!

Wished he could have a sip... This is a "why do I have to share ALL of it with the darn Goat"? cry.

Daddy was the Photographer most of the day but he did get in the pic just before we headed home.

We went to Arkansas to see Aunt Age, Uncle Simon, Rozy, and our Sweet Marie.
We celebrated Marie's Bday as well.

Cousin Time

Farmers Market

Random photo but such a fun Idea... I had to share it.  There is a new children's museum being built in Northwest Arkansas and as an exhibit they had all sizes of taped boxes that kids could build with.  It was brilliant and probably super cheap.  The kids LOVED it!  Great for a building party or VBS.

We love our Cousin Rozy and we are going to miss her so much.  We were also "celebrating" their last few days in Arkansas before they move to North Carolina.

Tired buddy.

Wore us out.

We also went to Arkansas to Celebrate our sweet friend Courtney Graduating from College.
She has been such a sweet blessing to our family and WE LOVE HER DEARLY!!

Courtney is super creative and one of the most Pinteresty people I know.

The Party was Beautiful and included a super fun "photo Booth"

Ummm daddy... this is so weird!

Happy Graduation Court We Love you!

We are looking forward to sweet friends coming into town.  4th of July family fun at the Lake,  Family Reunion at my parents at the Lake.  Pool time, Park time, and we are trying to check off a few must do St. Louis things that we have been missing out on.

What are you up to?  Any of you St Louis folks have any terrific ideas we should do with two babies?

Happy Summer!

Easter Pics and Si and Eli Updates

Happy WAY belated Easter!
(Never to late to think about Easter again)
But had to share these sweet pics.

We had such a sweet day.  Our church does a sunrise service every year and it is always so sweet to be outside (when its warm enough, which it was) praising Jesus and thanking Him for the greatest sacrifices ever made.
Then we had Easter lunch with Anthony's family, which is always a blessing.

We waited until after Church to take these pics and we got a few good ones but lets be honest who wants to take pictures after your mom woke you up, made you wear a tie, and made you sit out side really early :).  They actually did much better than expected.

One thing is for sure these kids like to be outside.  Eli loves to put just about anything in his mouth and Silas while a bit more cautious gets right in there after a bit of testing his surroundings.
Eli is standing on his own and taking a few steps.
Silas will stand but then just does the "nervous King girl Laugh" and sits down or launches his way to his momma or daddy.

They are super fun.  I am loving watching them learn and play together.  I will sometimes just stand out in the hall and listen to them chit chat to each other.

Eli is definitely the more take charge kinda guy.  He is mostly unaffected by toys being taken from him.  However that may be because he is usually the one doing all the taking.  He is a rascal.
Silas is still my veggie man and Eli my fruit guy.
They both like their carbs... sorry guys you might have gotten that from me.
Never met a muffin or piece of bread I didn't like.

Still have straight hair :) Come on Curls... I am losing hope....

Hope you all had a fabulous Easter Sunday and that we continue to have our eyes
fixed on our RISEN LORD.
